On the 1st of December, the V International Conference of Students and Young Researchers «The Russian language in the context of an open dialogue of languages and Cultures» was held at the International Institute of Interdisciplinary Education and Ibero-American Studies of Southern Federal University. artners of SFedU are L.N. The Director of the International Institute of Interdisciplinary Education and Ibero-American Studies of SFedU N. V. Karpovskaya, Vice-Rector for Educational Activities and Information Technologies of SFedU P. V. Makhno, PhD, Professor, Head of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics of the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University E. A. Zhuravlev greeted the participants of the conference, representative of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University Lapitskaya N. I., Director of the Institute of Philology, Journalism and Intercultural Communication of the Southern Federal University Dmitrova A.V.
Russian speakers noted that for the fifth year in a row, the conference continues to connect and unite representatives of different cultures and countries who love and study the Russian language, Russian culture, and literature. Thanks to this, an open scientific dialogue and the movement of scientific knowledge forward becomes possible. «In the famous Russian fairy tale «The Flying Ship», for the ship to fly, it was necessary to wish him a good journey. Have a good trip!» - Natalia V. Karpovskaya admonished the participants in her speech.
The main areas of work of the conference were: current issues of language learning and intercultural communication; philological research in the context of cultural dialogue; media, multimedia and digital resources as an object of linguistics and linguodidactics; teaching Russian as a foreign language: the content and forms of organization of the educational process; means of expressing cultural identity at phrasal and supra-phrasal levels; language, text and cross-cultural communication: theoretical and methodological questions.
The event was attended by bachelors, undergraduates, postgraduates, young scientists from different Russian and foreign universities, including: Southern Federal University, Moscow State University, Pushkin State University, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Kazan Federal University, Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B. N. Yeltsin, Rostov Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Ufa University of Science and Technology, Uzbek State University of World Languages, Kokshetau University named after Sh. Ualikhanov, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, Alfraganus University, etc.
Reports were made by young researchers from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, China, Iraq, Mongolia, Palestine, Ecuador, Turkey, Syria, Colombia, etc. In total, more than 150 people took part in the event. The best reports were awarded with diplomas of 1, 2 and 3 degrees and recommended for publication in the Bulletin of Humanitarian Studies in the Interdisciplinary Scientific Space, registered in the scientometric database of the RSCI (Russian Science Citation Index). The conference materials that are not awarded diplomas will be published in the final collection of the conference.
