The International Institute of Interdisciplinary Education and Ibero-American Studies of SFedU hosted an evening of acquaintances for foreign students of the Division of Russian as a Foreign Language and General Courses for International Students (Preparatory Department).
Foreigners who have come to the Southern Federal University face difficulties in their daily and academic life due to ignorance of the rules of behavior, insufficient background knowledge about Russia and its culture. A cultural and educational event «Hello, Russia!» was organized to help students to adapt to our country, where they will live and study in various educational programs. The undergraduates of The International Institute of Interdisciplinary Education and Ibero-American Studies took an active part in the celebration: students prepared a video to familiarize themselves with the rules of Russian etiquette, organized and conducted master classes on folk crafts, presented creative activities, translated the presentation into foreign languages, acted as hosts of the cultural program.
In addition to the historical and educational part dedicated to Russia and its customs, foreign students were able to appreciate the cultural wealth of our country: folk crafts, poetry, music, dancing. Thanks to the interactive quiz «Russian Etiquette» and specially prepared videos, students learned how to behave in various communication situations. In addition, the participants of the event were able to create souvenirs in memory of the evening at master classes, as well as to test their knowledge about Russia in the final quiz.
Иностранцы, приехавшие в Южный федеральный университет, в повседневной и учебной жизни сталкиваются с трудностями, связанными с незнанием правил поведения, недостаточными фоновыми знаниями о России и ее культуре. Чтобы помочь им адаптироваться в нашей стране, где они будут жить и учиться на различных образовательных программах, было организовано культурно-просветительское мероприятие "Здравствуй, Россия!". Магистранты МИМДО приняли активное участие в проведении праздника: студенты подготовили видео для знакомства с правилами русского этикета, организовали и провели мастер-классы по народным промыслам, представили творческие номера, перевели презентацию на иностранные языки, выступили в роли ведущих культурной программы.
Помимо историко-образовательной части, посвященной России и ее обычаям, иностранные обучающиеся смогли оценить культурное богатство нашей страны: народные промыслы, поэзию, музыку, танцы. Благодаря интерактивной викторине «Русский этикет» и специально подготовленным видеороликам учащиеся узнали, как вести себя в различных ситуациях общения. Кроме того, участники мероприятия смогли создать своими руками сувениры на память о вечере на мастер-классах, а также проверить свои знания о России в заключительной викторине.
