How to apply at the Department of the Russian language and General Disciplines?

Study visa is an obligatory requirement for the education at the Department of the Russian language and General Disciplines. To get study visa you should have an invitation from the university and provide it both with the requite documents to the Russian embassy or consulate, located in your country.

  1. Passport and the notarized translation into Russian;
  2. An education document you might have (school graduation certificate, diplomas, etc. notarized translation into Russian);
  3. The medical report on the absence of contraindications for training (notarized translation into Russian);
  4. The medical certificate on the absence of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and the AIDS disease, issued by the official health authority of the country of residence of the candidate (and notarized translation into Russian);
  5. A Filled application form.

 

How to issue a contract?

To issue a contract all international students should submit to the dean’s office of the Department of the Russian language and General Disciplines the following documents:

  • 2 copies of the passport;
  • 2 copies of the visa;
  • 2 copies of the migration card;
  • Application for FC or for RLC;
  • 2 photos sized 3x4.

 

Accommodation at the student campus of SFedU

Southern Federal University provides its students accommodation in students’ residence hall.

To register in the students’ residence hall on the territory of the Russian Federation you should submit to University’s Migration services the following documents.

  • 4 copies of your passport (all pages except blank ones);
  • 4 copies of the migration card;
  • 4 photos sized 3x4.

 

Medical insurance

All international students should obtain medical insurance after arrival in the Russian Federation. The medical insurance updated annually. You can issue a medical insurance in the dean’s office of the Department, room 201.

 

Is it possible to receive an invitation for the education in Russia in the situation COVID-19?

According to the order of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the Russian Federation (MIA of Russia) dated March 16th, 2020 the citizens of some countries are able to receive an invitation for the education in the University in the Russian Federation. Arrival procedure into the Russian Federation

All international students are required to inform about arrival the staff of the dean’s office not later than 7 days before entry into Russia. It is obligatory to inform about the exact date of arrival in Moscow and to give the name of the airport, as well as to inform about the exact date and time of arrival in Rostov-on-Don. An international student will not be allowed to enter the territory of the Russian Federation at a border control, if an international student does not inform the university staff about his/her arrival in advance.

All international students have to obtain a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test for COVID-19 not earlier than 3 days before arrival into the Russian Federation.

During first 72 hours after arrival into the Russian Federation all international students have to obtain a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test for COVID-19 for the second time.

All international students are allowed to study if they have two negative results of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests for COVID-19.
